Epidural Steroid Injection

An Epidural Steroid Injection reduces inflammation and swelling of nerves in the epidural
space of the spine, which surrounds the spinal cord. The procedure entails inserting the needle into the epidural space, which can cause slight discomfort. A local anesthetic is used for this procedure.
